Small Rooms is a play set in Damascus in 2010, where the main characters Saba, Saad, Hanan and Ammar are attempting to experience love in a hostile and perverse social environment. They constantly hurt each other which hinders their need for love. With a sensitive palette of emotions, Wael Qaddour imagines the suffocating world that these creatures have built to protect themselves.
